I had the opportunity to present our work at a number of conferences. While the CURAC and BVM conferences are national conferences specialized on the topic of computer vision and robotics, the CAOS conference brings engineers and clinicians from all over the world together. During the COVID-19 pandemic, on-site meetings were not possible. Luckily, I was able to visit several places before and after the pandemic to get in contact with the international research community. Ultimately, this let to a number of high quality journal publications, the most important being published in the near future. Along with this paper, we will publish the first benchmark for ultrasound bone segmentation.

See below for a synopsis as list view and to download any of the papers.
Most publications directly address the topic of my dissertation. As medical engineering is an interdisciplinary profession, I learned a lot from my colleagues and was able to contribute to exciting related topics, as robotics and biomechanical analysis.
