About Me.

Born in 1991, in the german town of Neuss I grew up with three siblings. You can imagine it was not always fun, but definetly full of life! This "rheinländisch" heritage and my lively childhood most probably are the reason that to this day, I prefer a busy home full of family and friends.

Growing up, my brothers and I started LAN parties even before we got access to the internet - that's simply what you end up with when dedicated gamers live together. While engineering and science fascinated me even before I could walk (I was named "King of the cables" as they were my favorite toy), this period of my life sparked my interest in computer science. Optimization and modeling are crucial aspects in computer science, and so are they for many competetive games. At the age of 17, I spent my time working with an international team developing a spreadsheet that optimized... equipment selection in a well known MMORPG. Regarding complexity, that project easily tops a bachelor thesis.

Only during my student days, I learned about the true value of sports. Its capability to strengthen your body and ease the mind is invaluable - besides all the fun. Nowadays, short trips with friends are a vital part of my life. Being it kite surfing at the Ijsselmeer or the North Sea, hiking over the icy mountains in Norway or snowboarding in Austria, to name just a few. On this website, you may get to know me a bit better.
